"I really loved Dr. Soo Ha lessons. She was always funny and nice. I had a fun time: I met a lot of new songs (pieces) too! I loved playing Beethoven Sonatas but they were hard. I had to practice a lot but I loved it. I also loved playing the Schumann's Concerto in A minor. It was my first time playing concerto and it was fun!! I really appreciate lessons with her!"

"Thank you so much for always teaching me music theory and piano. It has come so handy at school when practicing! Thank you also for teaching me how to relax my fingers, rolling, and many other skills. I like how you tell me I can do it and how you sing what the music is like."

Dr. Soo Ha is an incredible teacher and musician.  It is rare to find someone who is a master at both.  She has a comprehensive approach where students learn the fundamentals as well as the context from a music history perspective.  She challenges her students to understand the feeling the music is conveying.  We are very lucky to be in Dr. Soo Ha’s piano studio!

I have been a student of Ms. Soo's for 13 years learning piano. Her teachings are multifaceted as she incorporates art, science, history, and physics to explain the origins and influences of piano. She has been a great motivator and mentor in my life, pushing me to do my best in musical aspects as well as academically. I now attend the University of Michigan as a freshman and continue to carry her words with me to shape my life and how I interpret the world around me.
